Competing for city pride and a lucrative cash prize, the start of the highly anticipated inaugural Africa City Challenge basketball tournament is less than two weeks away. Tipping off in Kenya’s capital city, Nairobi, six Eastern African teams laden with local all-star athletes will compete for a prize pool of $18,000, the highest in the history of inter-city tournaments in the African region.
